I know I wrote on this on the past as a type of question, but I think we figured this out by observing. Its like we have our day crew which goes to work and our night crew that stays home and does home life. Showering is our dividing line from day to night and visa versa.

We shower twice a day....a good one at about 6pm after the rigors of sweaty and dirty work, then a quick fresher in the morning like @ 6:45.

When showering....our mind starts fogging up and voices and thoughts begin to ramp up, like in the morning the workers start thinking about yesterday and todays plans like at the same time, and the same for the ladies at night about food and housework. The body washes on automatic it seems.... I often get out of the shower wondering if I really took a shower because the memories are missing....but I'm wet, so...

This is and has been a daily occurence for a long time, but to only see it for what it is in the past few months.

I finally figured out why the day workers put off showering to late....so they can hang around in my time.

Does anyone have any similiar type of experiences?

no with me though I had alters who's sense of agency was night time and others day time nothing in my daily routine was a dividing line between the two. the night time alters were in control due to my being triggered and dissociating at night....and the daytime alters were in control when ever I got triggered by something during the day. I did have one alter that would take control during water triggers. what happened was due to a near drowning situation water would sometimes cause me to dissociate (feel numb, spaced out and disconnected) when that happened the water alter took control to deal with that.

I know right? But for us...life is a trigger. Alters emerge to handle the smallest of jobs, and soon it takes a string of them to function. From what I feel...most of our childhood was spent in a daze that eased up when we all started to work together after graduation. Even today dealing with life is still mind numbing.

Well yea the running dialouge is what it is....Yea simateneously I can use a hand to wash, is what we do. There history is what it is im sure there are quiet moments.....Mindfulness comentating of the shower would be a good idea then everything in the history mind of people(others)will be comtentating. When relinquishing control it goes back in the inner world to do it's own thing if thats a share etc...
