so earlier in the week, I saw an email that invited readers of a did blog to email the blog owner for a consultation
first thought.. oh yay, this might actually be good for us, we read the intro and liked it- moved to the next stepp and were told to pay over £100 for a 300 word email just, wow. we're not paying that when we can get advice here free of charge still, would have been cool to write to the blogger |

I think it would be worth it as an investment in my own mental health, and to get advice from a professonal instead of non professionals on a forum.

Hmmm, decisions decisions, shall I pay the bills and buy food to eat this week or shall I invest in my mental health and give that money to a therapist instead?
One of the great questions in life. ![]() |

I have paid many mental health professionals since 1992. I believe that mental health professionals should be paid just like medical doctors. But incompetence and corruption in the mental health system should be treated just like in the medical fields.
This Country needs a regulatory system in the mental health professions just like in the medical fields. Incompetent professionals should lose their licenses immediately and patients should have the right to Civil actions in our Courts to redeem wasted money and time. I believe that the Canadian system is the way that this Country needs to go in the mental health system. Crooked businessmen will continue to abuse patients in our mental health system until changes are made. Last edited by Michael W. Harris; Nov 05, 2017 at 01:52 PM. Reason: Addition. |
