I understand that everyone gets a nostalgic feeling time to time- a longing for things of old...yes?
I noticed that when these feelings are triggered, like on a sunny blue sky day...a new awareness kicks in...my vision lightens or darkens a shade and then some vague, image stills of a partial memory of a day long gone flashes back... And I fall into a trance like state...during times like when I’m driving...I fight my way back due to the obvious danger...bouncing in and out. I guess this is nostalgia on steroids, yes? Due to the way our brains process memories... in fragments and parts, yes? |
