Okay, our refrigerator has different kinds of food that appears and disappears with no clue as to how long it’s been in there. I try to stick to a 3 day maybe rule on leftovers,....anybody have an easy way or an idea in which things can be arranged, marked, dated?

No markers, tape, or new containers...something simple and easy that all the parts (bigs and littles) can follow? Maybe?

Color coded dots maybe? One for each day like blue for Monday, red for Tuesday....

Ideas? Suggestions?

the way I did it wasnt anything special like dating taping, color coding and what have you.

since it was explained to me that dissociation was a trigger related disorder (something good or bad happens to cause the symptoms) All I had to do was look at my calendar for what my schedules were the last week. this told me possibly which alters were in control when. this way I also knew when I dissociated. which in turn would tell me when / how long the food was in there...

example if I remembered going to a meeting on monday and didnt remember going to the dinner party that night... and I remembered going to work on tuesday then I know the food appeared in the cooler on monday evening.

mind you this is how I did it because I didnt have any co consciousness to the extent of knowing what the others are doing/ when.

before I knew I had DID the problem just solved itself. its not like I starved and didnt cook, go shopping ....(everything food wise)... everything got done before I knew I had DID. I also knew that nothing changes when getting the diagnosis, other than getting better at things due to working in therapy. the result I was here today because someone inside made sure I had the food I needed to survive, cooked the food to ensure my survival so I knew after diagnosis it would continue to be a non issue for me, it would just continue happening where which ever alter who's sense of agency was food for the survival of all did their thing. I really didnt have to do anything.

you have a great deal of co consciousness according to your past posts, my suggestion is maybe you can either do what you have done all your life and let the situation solve itself or ask inside to find out who's sense of agency is things like meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking the meals (assuming here that you do have someone who does these things otherwise you wouldnt be here today, people cant live with out food for very long physically or mentally )

Ewwww. I throw the container away, too. Getting food sick is a phobia...

We eat safe food that doesn’t have a questionable expiration date...but when containers like are there.

Sure we are co-con...but that doesn’t mean that we actually talk to each other over mundane daily crap.

Running this body during work day life is all business, but homelife in private, not so much...pretty much everyone for themself...slumming, relax.
