The next few months major life changes are going to take place. We are getting a bigger apartment and moving our mother in. Our son is going to go to school and moving out. We are co-signing him a car after he just totaled this one. We are giving him $1000.00 to help step up. We are trying to purchase a new vehicle, too.

All this on a fragile mental state with a daily fear of imploding....but we must stay strong and not overreact to trigger, hold our breath and stay focused on the day when all this has been done.

Sounds good....fingers crossed.

Well, we did it....walked out and bought a new car slightly used with payments...even helped the boy get him a car, too.

Our system is rumbling and grumbling over this potential faux pas...

Whiles others are confident and beaming with pride.

Such a big commitment for us- and commitments don’t go well with us. Hoping for a bit of maturity has set in on us over the years.

We’re having inner strife over this car purchase, but hopefully overtime the negative parts will have settled down after a few payments and let me sleep at night.

Now that we can drive, we are able to cross the river to the other part of the parish....I can get my divorce papers!

This can get ugly.

That's a lot of changes. How do you think it will go with your mother? Does she know about the DID and the female alters? I am hoping you will still have space to be all of your selves.

You know how it is...you tell people something and it doesn’t register in their minds....they still see you as a singleton.

They have clashed in the past....

She has seen us dressed up, punished us for it, called us names....but, I don’t know....she just wasn’t that mean and hateful about it...she says she’s more accepting now. We’ll see

Okay, priced a flight to Dallas at $300.00 and U-Haul and car tow at $500.00

I put deposit on 2 bedroom for the end of the month.

Meanwhile, my dipshit of a son copped himself a DWI. Talk about stressing out entire system...he is causing us to lose sleep especially since I co-signed everything for him.

I hate that my head is hanging out there and the axe is in his hands. Just gotta hope for the best.

Wow...it’s costing us $2k to move across the street this month.

On top of all the regular bills.

Whatever, this mom thing is very important to the littles.....I hope to not disappoint.

Signed, big breakfast, and now (as I look around the apartment) is going to take a nap...then start moving stuff.

Just got to carry stuff down a set of stairs, across the parking lot, and up another set of stairs.... no moving van needed.

What are the littles hoping for with your mother moving in? Do you think it will work out?

It sounds like you have a "good-enough" mom... that's awesome.

We are in our new apartment...it’s a mess...no routine and nothing but fear and future questions....lost...

Looking for a solution....

Working on it, trying to not predict the future....

Change is so hard. You just get used to one thing then the Earth shifts and you need to regain your balance.

Our routine is so ruptured....omg we are everywhere.

We are trying hard to instill the same previous routine with obvious changes....mornings are almost back to normal. It’s like we were punched in the collective stomach and just now getting our wind back. Some of us can’t believe what we are doing, but we always have complainers and oppositionists.

Just wait till mother gets here...omg....

We will survive, manage, and hopfully be nice about it.

A feeling of normalcy in the new place and new routine will come with time -- just hang in there! Maybe you could re-read a favorite book or watch a favorite TV show or movie again, for the familiarity? Hoping you are all well.

Got our basic morning routine back up to par considering that we are once again on call. It gets in the way of me time but that’s what we got to do.

Being our living room is no longer our bedroom and that we actually do have a bedroom...that’s getting a taking to get use to.

The kid is still freaking us out....but we are trying to let that one go never mind the fact it feels like we screwed ourselves for co-signing him...oops oh well.

We need more clothes. We have a walk in closet full of nothing.

Not is only life a changing, it’s getting weirder too.
