Saw my T today and he has updated my diagnosis from OSDD-1 to DID. Just thought I'd share it with you guys.

Part of me says I’m sorry and other parts are like kewl...now you can like get proper treatment....if there is such a thing or if it makes a difference. I mean, nothing hasn’t changed since forever, they just gave it a part of the alphabet.

How do you feel?

I feel kind of mixed. Scholar feels affirmed since she thought the diagnosis was the accurate one, but the ones in denial are feeling a little slammed. It feels unreal, yet I've always known it was real. Thank you for asking.

We still have a couple that prefer denial too. It's slowly shifting I guess. Over time it likely will for you all too.
Thanks for this!

Denial is something that some parts hold on to, and the hardest to get relief. Since our awakening (our join date)....we are slowly coming around one by one into believing even though we don’t have a “diagnosis”...we just know after hiding it from ourselves for many of years to never look in since our teen years (were 50 by the way).

We were always looking to help other people, but not ourselves, afraid to look in and finally see what and how we be. Now we see....no going back now.
Thanks for this!
