I'm not big on the holidays, and i live with my mom (don't ask)... she knows my sentiments, and that I am DID, MPD but she doesn't always comprehend what that entails. Yesterday she said "Part of me wants to get an xmas tree, and part doesn't, What do your parts want?" One voice (thankfully internally so she couldn't hear) instantly answered "You to go to h***." I start laughing. She starts laughing. She doesn't know why she's laughing. I told her she needs to be careful asking me something like that seeing as i have around 12 parts. She wanted to know if i got an answer. mm hmmm. "What was the answer?" You don't want to know.
I never did answer her about a tree.

LOL I rolled on the floor over this post.

The other day, at my daughters birthday party (at the MALL!!) the kids were separating for a scavenger hunt. My friend Mickey, also DID, said, "ok, let's split apart and go" and we both looked at each other and roared. Split a part. . .ROFLMAO. Ummm no thanks. I've got more than enough as it is now.
