Mind Control Scares Us

Our system of alters are scared from the things that sound like mind control. It's like certain key words or contextual words/attitudes are spoken over and over again, and then bullies come out and repeat, and then it feels like I'm being smothered.

We can't handle feeling that kind of panic.

We see the mind control everywhere now. In the news, on the forums, online in the comments of every media site, including newspaper media. We feel like evil people are spreading mind control so that they can tire people out and make them die or brainwash them or cyberstalk them until they give up. We feel trapped and pinned down all the time. The body feels heavy.

We must have freaked out for the past few days.

Some of our alters experienced sick and twisted spiritual abuse or psychological abuse or both.

I think we get triggered by certain things that are hard to describe. It's not the words exactly, because the same words that are triggering in one context might be non-triggering in a different context. I think it's the context.

And sometimes it is hard to interpret contextual meanings in certain things.

Perhaps we need to avoid certain topics.

I think we tried to post somewhere else but then got scared because the original poster reminded us of a really violent ex. We didn't mean to hurt the original poster's feelings, but it was too late to delete or edit our reply.

I think we've been replying in not-so-nice ways, even though they are well within the limits. But we're trying to work on our system's triggers. It's hard to tell when something triggers.

Our T says the same thing - to avoid watching the news so much. So we are trying not to watch the news or read posts online about the news.

I used to like reading the weekly q & a from anonymous posters on Unwelcome Ozian on tumblr, but it gets overwhelming.

Some things can make me lose consciousness me if I imagine it like the childrens movie alice in wonderland. So many humans are messed up. It's so confusing.

We haven't seen Alice in Wonderland yet. But we heard about it having a lot to do with dissociation or something.
