They say that you will know the truth,
and this truth will set you free. That theory may be true, but a part of me strongly disagrees. It’s been here ya know, the truth, in a silent haze. Waiting in many pieces as I worked my way toward it, through this maze. The truth, out of focus and so disconnected, feels so far away and not really me. I don’t know how to find it, or what the end result will be. - Trail

Hugs, TR. One of the things I have realized is that I may never know the exact truth about my past. What I can know is what I experienced.
There was neglect/abuse to the extent that I developed parts to deal with it. Parts don't just happen, dissociation doesn't just happen. Trauma causes dissociation. I dissociate, therefore I was traumatized. The exact things that happened may not be clear, but that one fact is indisputable. |

It’s been a while since I’ve been here.
Thank you friends who were here that replied to this specific post. God is so good and he works us through so much in ways that we don’t understand. The truth will set us free and the reality of the truth is the freedom. I pray for freedom in our minds and truth for real freedom for our reality and future. I love you and I pray that you know too!
