I have a diagnosis of MDD, c-ptsd, and dissociative disorder.
I live alone, work part-time, and am so very lonely. There are days that I don't speak to another human being. I can feel my brain changing, and I'm afraid I might become a recluse. Im dissolving into myself. My dreams are more real than my waking life. I suppose I have to force myself to get out... Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk |

I can relate a lot. People at this forum say to do therapy if possible. If it's free then I'd try that. If you have a therapist who seems to want to give you therapy then that's a plus. I/we woke up this morning and just curled up with fear at the thought of doing another day so yeah life can be horrible. Can you go for walks? We love walking and it's been sunny lately but we haven't been able to get ourselves to go out but sometimes it's easy enough. It always helps us a lot.

I used to have s major isolation problem too. Some things I found helpful are making sure I get out for a walk in a safe, public area everyday and at least smiling and saying hi to people I pass. I don’t know what kind of environment you live in, but here there are some activities at the library and at parks that can actually be kind of fun.
It’s all about making yourself available and giving off good vibes to make people feel more at ease around you. If you really want to find some like minded people where you can open up more, but may have to put up with more, there are support groups.

I appreciate those suggestions.
I do have a counselor I talk to. I guess I have to force myself to do more... Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk |

Deee-
Can relate to a lot of your circumstances. I speak with humans every day, but in a work context, so mostly not reciprocal relationships. I feel like I can't tell many people how I am as I don't want to lose my job. Not impaired in any way that affects my work but this degree of isolation is not "normal". And lately I feel alone as I am not in contact with anyone who has the same issues that I do. It is difficult for me to get out and I can barely afford rent. I am chronically behind on my life due to health issues but hoping I will make it through this. I'm glad you posted, I hope you find answers that work for you, and will be interested in seeing your progress. Hope you keep posting here. |

I'd like to hear about your progress as well. I've been going for walks at a local park. Nature helps a lot. Also I went for ice cream with my neighbor today Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk |
