After much thought... I have decided to not continue therapy.. for DID...

It has taken...to be alone with my thoughts...

I like me... as is... and that is ok with me... and the saying goes...

I wish everyone else that wishes intergration... the absolute best..

freewill I totally respect your decision. Will you be continuing therapy for other reasons though? Integration is only one reason for seeing a therapist when someone has DID.

no sweetie..I have decided not to.....

I am trying to "go it alone".... accept me... for me...

as is.. with a "stamp of approval" on my forehead..

to live life... as best as I can... with the skills that I have...

I have been "in therapy" for a long time... so have learned alot...

My son continues therapy.. with my former therapist...

(((safe hug))) I think everyone can take a break from time to time, and if at that time think it's forever, that's ok too. Please do realize that it's ok to return to therapy later on. DID doesn't improve with aging, in fact it can often cause great distress unless your system has good communication.

Good wishes on your decision. Not continuing therapy... for DID

Best to you! May this be successful!

is there a reason to continue paying for your grown son to see your former t?

Free will,
I did the same in april 2007. It was the best thing for me to do at the time. At first, i thought i would never go back again, Now I am more open to the thought that I may need it in the future.

Feel free to IM me anytime. Just keep doing the things that keep you the most healthy.....

(i need to take my own advice).
