Sometimes I forget that " hey I'm D.I.D.", things can be pretty normal. But I got hit with a big DID slap yesterday. I've been out of work for a year now. I've had a couple of jobs that I've lasted a couple of days at, didn't like the jobs.

Well anyways back to the story. Someone called me for a SECOND job interview yesterday. They said they really liked me and wanted a second interview. OK, I have no knowledge of the first interview what so ever! None, zip, nothing ! I do remember going to 2 other interviews this week, one on friday and one on monday. But neither of them was to the place that called me for the second interview yesterday. OK, so the DID is so bad right now I'm going on job interviews without knowledge.

I've been really in and out of things memory wise lately. But I never thought that something so big would be, you know done without me having the slightest bit of knowledge too. It's just so unsettling and frighting.

((((((((((((((((Monty))))))))))))) I so understand that. I'm sorry you don't remember the interview. I know that things like that can be very disconcerting. I often don't remember my days at work and when a project comes back for changes, I feel the same way. Sometimes I have to just keep telling myself over and over again that some part of my brain knows and if needed, will deal with this.

I'm so glad to see you reaching out for support. We've missed you. I was shocked to see it's been a year that you've been out of work. I thought it had been a couple months. Dissociation stinks sometimes for sure. Please keep posting Monty. We want to be able to support you here.

we spoke to our son's new case worker & he said we'd spoken to him twice before
absolutely no memory of it & we thought we weren't swapping much lately

I am so lost on this site and don't know how to post anything except like this. I think this is the 4th post for today. But I have spent so much time trying to find someone to talk too that i'm about to have tears coming down. Please help me. I am not really this computer illiterate, But I can't even seem to find out how to change my picture (of a man). I'm very girly and don't like having it at all.

and for changing pictures, it is in your profile (there is a profile link if you scroll to the top of the page). very top. Mine has a blue bar, says "Inbox (0 new messages)| , Kiya's Profile | Log out" and if you click on Profile, you can change stuff in there.
