I'm so clueless today I woke up not having any idea - then thought it was sat and was about to be late to my spanish class... then remembered it was friday only to forget again and wondered what appointment i was missing... then didn't know the time, even tho the clocks were telling me - i didn't believe them since sometimes they'll say 9:50am and then when i look back it says 6:50am. they're digital so you'd think this wouldn't be this hard. then i look back because it is too dar for even 6:50am and it will really be 4:20 am. totally confused. but the clock has stayed the same, and the day keeps flitting. then i thought it was tuesday and couldn't remember if i went to the DD chat "last night" on monday.
I guess it is still Friday - which means i still haven't done any of my homework for spanish. I wish i hadn't taken on any classes this summer and just rested. this is too much for me! Thankfully i am not graded. *whew*. i just have to sit and feel like an idiot tomorrow morning (assuming it is really Sat in my head and I don't sleep through it).

((((((((((Kiya)))))))))) Sounds like a confusing day!

I so understand day confusions. I have always set my alarm to go off every morning since forever. Even before I knew what was going on with me, I had to do this. I would wake up and look at a calendar and try to figure out if it was the day that wasn't crossed off yet or if I was missing some days. I used to have a watch that had the number of the day on it and that helped a lot.

Then I got so I would get up every morning at the alarm and turn on my computer and see what day of the week it was. If I could go back to sleep, I would try.

Now my cell phone can be set to go off Monday- Friday (I know there are some alarm clocks that do now too) so I know if it goes off, I need to get up. It's definitely not foolproof and I have missed things, but it's helped a lot overall.

I use a lot of calendars and day planners and notebooks so I am more likely to end up where I'm supposed to. You'd think I was very organized because of this but I'm not lol, but it does help.

I haven't had problems with the numbers but I can imagine that must be so hard. I hope things get easier for you and you are able to get a break.

Take care.

I get this. What day is it, is breakfast, lunch, or dinner the next meal, what season is it, what month is it, etc. It really is disorienting.

You have a lot going on right now. I hope things calm down for you!!

I have the hardest time with this. I have a calender I cross out the days on each night before I go to sleep. This helps somewhat. I can see if I have to be somewhere the next day if need be. But other then that I couldn't yell you what month or year it is. I loose my day really fast, so I keep a check list of things I need to do during the day. Shower, brush my teeth, make my bed, wash the dishes. I check things off as I do them. Anything important my H calls me during the day and say's "hey you need to do this now"

What a life

yes... yes... to all these posts! i too draw lines through the calender days.... sometimes tho I find i mised several. I would love to have an alarm clock that told me the day! Watches go dead on me so fast so i gave up on them.
i keep losing my to do lists... grrrr. oh yeah EM - i missed a meal and all of my pills. I have pre breakfast, post breakfast, lunch, and dinner pills. I don't know what meal i missed - but all the pills are still in their holder. I think i got the pre meal pills *today*.... but missed everything else until the ... i dunno. out of 18, i think i got 6 today. i still may not get to spanish tomorrow - typically days like this lead to really bad panic attacks.

Oh watches what day is this?!?

This worked for me if you haven't already tried it. Put some electrical tape on the back of the watch. Makes a buffer between you and the battery. See if that helps any. Another thing I did while in college was to hook my watch on my backpack.
