Earthmama ... that's my mantra ... I am sorry ... I'm ok when I hear or see others saying this, but when I write or text those three words, it is an emotional trigger. I think my reaction goes back to the physical and emotional abuse of some teachers and relatives. I know they are long gone, but the pain remains hidden under the skin.

There are so many things that we get to be sorry about in life. Lotza ppl here have helped me understand that it is in the past and that my holding onto it is what is causing me pain. But putting it in the past seems impossible sometimes.

Folks here have listened to me. Telling secrets has revealed even more secrets. Often I wonder whether it is more dangerous to contain the secrets or to go through the emotional upheaval of telling and remembering.

You're one of the ppl who has been helpful to me. Thank you. I hope you can find relief from the "I'm sorry" syndrome and recognize that you were doing the best you could with all you knew at the time. We just know more now than we did when those things happened. We're able to make better choices now.

Hang in there Earthmomma becuz a lot of ppl care for you and appreciate you. Only the ignorant blame you for anything.

T.
