I have been having some difficulty with the others and everything else in me.... and this week I actually lost huge chunks of time.... which hasnt happened in a longgggggggg time... usually I am present enough to remember but not always present enough to respond... but this week I was not either... and people sure did notice.... they were like, what happened to you? or asked me about conversations "we" had and I had no recall what so ever... some just blew it off ans said glad your back and others pursued... and I was open with them.... my friends werent that supportive as they just dont understand.... one went as far to tease me for a day about it.. but whatever..... welll I just to share with those that can relate and wont judge.... thank you

I had a similar experience once. I was really freaked out by something that came up in t. I lost nearly two weeks. And it had to be an alter who speaks with a Southern accent and is a huge flirt and loud and friendly, basically everything I'm not, who came to the rescue.

I worked in a store as a cashier. When I came back out everyone was so friendly, even my boss. Evidently, as I found out more about it in t, my sweet Angelina had a great time. Miss Congeniality!

Guess my co-workers must have thought I was in an extremely good mood? I was embarrassed but no one said anything bad about those two weeks. Must have been a refreshing change from my serious "good worker" mode they had grown used to!

Sorry some of your co-workers weren't as supportive as they could have been. That has to hurt.

I'm so sorry they let you down. It hurts but it also feels embarrassing when I trust someone enough to be open and they don't get it or don't even try to understand. I wish that had not happened to you. I don't think anyone here will do that to you. People here are nice and genuine and kind. Not one person has been mean to me no matter what I posted from which alt.

That must have been a huge surprise when you discovered what Angelina had done at your job. I'm glad no one gave you any real trouble about it when "you" got back.

Sometimes I wish I could go away for two weeks and be different, but I know that it is not really fun, it is more scary than fun. I'm just bored of being stuck in one place like a tree. Somebody planted me and I can't seem to move and it scares me to be stuck, immovable in one place only!!! i skard to be stuk here. leli

just wnt to say that i can definitely relate. i don't have a normal job, i make beadwork jewelery and fashion accessories. One of the first times i was in a shop that i wanted to display my beadwork in, an alter decided it was time to come out and play. we are not co-conscious, so the next time i was in this particular shop the owner definitely had some questions for me that we were not expecting that day. I like my world to be predictable and wasn't prepared for that. To make matters worse, another vendor also happened to be present on both occasions. Anyway, i jumped in with both feet and was honest with the shop owner w/out revealing much personal baggage. That shop owner is now one of our best friends, and she never has judged us like so many others have in similar situations.

I guess I can kind of understand the reactions I got from my co-workers/friends though... it must have been odd for them to experience a different "side" of me in this compacity anyway... I know they dont get it and have trouble digesting the thought let alone actually meeting an alter full bore... they have had minute touches with them before but again not in a full compacity as they did that week....

anyway, I am blessed to have PC to come too and be surrounded by great people that are caring and supportive!! THANK YOU!!

are u able to explain about the alters to your co-workers/freinds a little bit more than maybe what they already know?- they mite just want to help and not know how...............bead understands this is scary but it mite help a lot - it did for bead

Most of them know... and the two bosses directly above me happen to be my two best friends! I think it was having a direct full blown experience with an alter that was weird for them.... But having had that experience now has seemed to open them up and now that some time has gone by to wrap their heads around it.... Its getting better...
