Hi Zorah,

We've missed you as well. We're sorry for the difficulties you are dealing with at home (((Zorah)))

We're not sure as to the exact happenings as to why some posts and some threads are missing.

Our guess would be when a moderator removes a post sometimes the way the board is set up not only is the original post removed but also any posts responding to that original........something to do with how things thread. We are not speaking from any insider knowledge and we know next to nothing about how the posts/threads connect in the db here.

We have no information as to why or what but we're trying to restore what we've personally used this board for and what we knew to be a place of support.

Thanks for the note.

More than anything we're learning the importance of data backup if that data has meaning for us. We cannot rely upon others to maintain our own personal trove of helpful threads/posts. We've learned that printing out the posts and saving to Word doc. is one way. Also using any e-mail program with markup allows the smilies and pics to be saved too when you cut and paste a thread into the body of an e-mail message.

We never expect to lose what is ours but life is uncertain and there is but so much one can do to deal with uncertainty.

kindly,
__zh

just posted to you in your thread a very similar sentiment!! No! No! No! No! gmta

we're staying safe..........sick as all get out but safe.

yeah when life breaks down to the minutes and hours to get through the day it is soooooooooooooo difficult to remain positive......as our usual sense of the passage of time is "oh? a week has passed? felt like a few hours...." either too much spaciness or way too much awareness of the minutes and seconds...........where is that middle ground?

like you we are choosing life and attempting all we know how to make this life better than it has been.

we're both investing in ourselves...........so where's our return?? No! No! No! No!

that we're alive and have senses of humour through the darkness is the payoff. that we're still trying.

fondly,
__zh

I'm sorry there is difficulty for you in searching out threads where you knew Ozzie had responded. I'm unable to discover any "missing" of my own... and in thinking about HER threads that she began, there weren't many of those, as she was always giving us support in our threads, imo. AND when her posts were deleted, the thread was still there... wasn't it? Of her own resigning? And DocJohn inserted his words explaining she had left a little earlier than planned? Help me think.. ok? (((hugs))))

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
