(((ginniesky))) why do you think she/he asked that?? were you able to tell her how it made you feel to be asked this question? i wonder if it is to help you know what happens before you give in to the trigger to purge? counseling: it's not for sissies! hugs,

(((((((((((((((((((((((ginniesky))))))))))))))))))))))) It is hard when the feelings and actions are so intertwined. Take your time and you will sort out what is happening. Your T can help you work through what is happening. You are very brave to be willing to do this. Please be kind to yourself.

(((((((((((((Ginniesky))))))))))) It's so hard to work through this stuff. T and I have worked on the eating disorder here in the past and it's been very hard. She said to change a behavior, we have to figure out what prompts the emotions that cause us to want to do a certain behavior. My problem with it is that I often don't have the before or during stuff and I just have knowledge that I've done or am doing something. Other times I have the emotions but no memory or knowledge of why.

I know it's hard and it's probably bringing up lots of stuff for you. I'm so sorry. All I know to do is hang in there with T. We're here for you.

(((((((((((((((((((ginnie)))))))))))))))))))))))) T asked me a very triggering question on Monday that completely freaked out all of my various parts and made reality slip away for quite a while. It's so, so hard to go through this stuff, and I'm sorry that you're having to think about this and feel all scared and stirred up.

Thinking of you and sending many safe hugs to all of you.
