My therapist is kind of forced to belive in MPD after a recent appearance of my self-destructive side, Kimmy. Although I'm glad for that, I find it very hard to believe the things Kimmy revealed.

Some of the things she revealed were very very gruesome and hard to believe. But I have to keep in mind that the time frames fit, and there's nothing to prove that it *didnt* happen.

Is it possible for personalities to lie about things that happened to them? Or am I just being paranoid?

Well, not only does she believe, she's now worried and mortified.....
... and will let the window I broke go unpunished.

I don't think Kimmy would lie. But I had always loved my step father very dearly, and I'm questioning if he was even vaguely capable of abusing me in any form.

Consider it this way:

Alters are people. Sometimes people lie, sometimes they don't. Of course they are capable of it, but what would Kimmy's motivation be?

I agree...alters are people. I would think that some would lie and some would not.

I have not had experience with the crew lying but given the right motivation perhaps they would.

With the right motivation I guess we all would.

I hope you get the help you deserve.
