Going through something weird right now...

What do you do when, you think you know somethings not right, so you try and prove it, so you can help keep someone safe. Then the situation kind of blows up in your face and people begin pointing fingers at you like you were the one that was the cause of it all, or you were the one that did wrong....?

I feel like I'm being set up, but that sounds so paranoid!!

I don't know how to fix this! I don't know what to do? I've been stuck here waiting now what seems like forever and internally I am all messed up. I guess I should've just minded my own business and not tried to help...but if I know somethings not right, I feel responsible and compelled to speak up. Maybe I went about that the wrong way?

(((Elysium)))) whatever you think you did wrong, I'm sure you only helped.
I understand that feeling too well; the part about being set up...It's scary and makes me/us wonder what is real.
You help everyone here. Please believe that. You've been there for me and I will never forget you.
Thanks for this!

elysium, i know what you mean, i think. i've always hurt so much my whole life and when i see someone else hurting or in a problem i want to help. i did have to kinda learn when i could help, because sometimes people send out mixed signals and i think they want help and maybe they just want to be heard (or if they are unhealthy maybe they just want attention and having a problem gets them that attention)

i finally learned to ask someone if they needed help or even wait and let them ask me for help. mostly i learned to listen and share only what i had done in my life and not even give advice unless specifically asked. it kept me out of some real jams once i learned those things.

i know this may not help just at the time when you are feeling all weirded out by whatever happened. this too will pass. hang in there and just know you are making friends here.
