After trying to work on a 4 year on and off again relationship, my ex and I have finally called it over. This is very hard for me cause I still love her and want to be with her. I thought this last time we would be able to work things out and live a happy life together. Now she has decided to live her life for god and step away from the gay lifestyle. I believe in god and try to live my life with him always on my mind but I don't feel like I'm going to hell for who I love. Now she seems to be trying to convience me that what I am doing is wrong. She is my best friend and even though we are no longer together I want to hold on to our friendship. Is this possible? Feeling very alone right now. But happy that she has seem to found peace within herself.

I don't know as anyone can answer that question. Whether or not she wants to continue the friendship is going to be up to her. Perhaps you can talk to her ~ but obviously she's made her choice about the gay lifestyle.

I don't see why you couldln't remain friends, but you'll have to work that out with her. We can't really answer the question as to the possibility of a friendship. But again, I don't see why not -- it's totally between the two of you.

Best of luck and God bless. Hugs, Lee
