Supposed to be a separation and she gets her own place. Supposed to be for us but I just wish she would cut the crap and say we are through. Then I want my Elvis Presley ticket.

.... everyone gets tickets to see Elvis one day

I can understand your not wanting to be in this state of limbo. Did the two of you try counseling? If not, then I suggest that you bring up the possibility to her. Has she ever been willing to talk to you about what she sees has not been working in your relationship? (Of course, not being able to communicate well is not a healthy sign for a relationship in general.)

Weekends tend to be sort of slow here. Maybe some other folks will respond soon. I suggest in the meantime that you be good to yourself--stay healthy, avoid drinking, etc. And if she is not willing to try counseling, then I definitely think that would be the thing for you to do. It will help you, whether the two of you get back together or not. Alas, people tend to carry their baggage into new relationships, and what caused problems in one relationship usually causes problems in a new one.

As for Elvis tickets, I suggest you try to find a tape of one of his. You WILL be okay, even though it doesn't seem like it now.
Thanks for this!
