Yes I know its crazy BUT how do I leave him whilst my ibs is playing up??
My symptoms were kind of under control but not following my usual routine during the earthquakes my ibs has kicked in.
We know for sure its only ibs but the extreme symptoms do make me wonder how I can go. I experience the full shebang, diarrohea, vomiting, bloating, awful pain to the extent I have been admitted and on occasion I have fainted.
Its stripping my confidence, I really feel like I dont have the mental or physical ability to go

As a sufferer of IBS, I understand that it can get bad and that you would feel you couldn't have the strength to leave. I'm sorry it is so bad for you.

When I was ready to leave my husband, the month before I planned on leaving, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and the doctor told me that I couldn't leave due to the care I would need. I stayed and by the time I was cured I didn't feel like leaving. We are still married 14 years later. I wish I had been strong enough to leave but I didn't and now it's too late. I can manage on my own now either.

So if you want to leave I would suggest that you manage it somehow even with your IBS or you may never get out.

Thanks for replying Gayleggg,
So sorry to hear that. I feel for you.
I need to go but my confidence has hit my boots. Beginning to wonder if perhaps I am getting depressed from the stress of it all. Seeing my doctor later so hopefully he can help. IF i am depressed because of him I'll be furious!! Grrr

I hope that your doctor can help. Struggling with ibs is hard enough without other emotional baggage. Either could be a reason for depression. I wish you the best.

So I have been diagnosed with IBS nothing else. Week before and after I left I spent hours in the bathroom but this last week - been 3 weeks since I left, my tummy is fine, no problem whatsoever. I know I'll have IBS forever but days symptom free is such a God send
