Argh!!! Anyone else? I think he realizes now that he is not mentally stable. He seems to have figure it out after an emo breakdown (elsewhere not home for two days), now comes in talking about house projects and coming to take care of our child.... I don't get it. His divorce lawyer meeting is tomorrow. I've spent the last days drafting my terms and getting my son counseling, and dealing with the pain of his polarizing behavior, then he comes in calm asking me about my work etc.?

I am tired of games. I've been through so much and have accepted our fate, now what does this supposed to mean? Is he going, not going, or is he just reacting to my non reaction to his tantrum and my serious steps toeards moving on? This is definitely different that what I e seen, he seems to have ended a cycle

Sorry this is so confusing for you. Is he seeing a therapist?

No he isn't. I suggested it last night, and once again he turned it down.

I'm in so much pain. I love him, hate what war has done to him. I spent the last day helping him through insomnia, anxiety and depression, but no progress.

His lawyer appointment is today. I've prepared myself for the conversation but he didn't bring it up. I hate this place in my head right now, feeling desperate and pathetic, like a dog that veg's for scraps.

What about you, have you reached out for therapy? You really should have a presence that can help you with all this emotional pain you are experiencing.

Keep moving forward... If he isn't doing any actionable items that speak into him changing then all the other stuff is fluff, just words to hold you at bay.

Hello. I am sorry for your pain and anguish. Perhaps it would be a bit easier for you if you keep assuming the divorce is happening regardless of his contrary back and forth emotional state. He is on a roller coaster, but you don't have to join him on that ride. Stronger boundaries may be helpful for you.
