Yesterday I was skating and I tried to land a jump and my ankle snapped when I landed. I don't think the jump was flawed and the landing should have been perfect but it didn't work out that way. Well anyway after a trip to the emergency room I have a fracture and had to get my ankle in a cast. This totally sucks because I have to use crutches and its like I can't do anything anymore. It is my right ankle so I cant drive good. The doctor said I can use it for driving after a little while but now it hurts if it touches anything. I am a real estate agent so I am having to have my fiance (who works with me) to drive me to all of my appointments. I also just got a new car and it is really nice and I can't even drive it. I can't exercise, I can't walk my dog. I am so depressed!! The pain medication they put me on also makes me so unhungry and it makes me itch all over. I am having trouble eating anything. The doctor said it may be because of my low weight that my ankle was so fragile. Well anyway I just wanted to vent. You will probably see a lot more of me because I can't exercise anymore.

So sorry to hear that, Gem. I've never had a fractured ankle but i strained one years ago and then when it was nearly better, strained it again. they are apinful. i hope you find some rleif from the discomfort soon.

Sorry to hear about the ankle
 i know what its like to break bones... Don't worry though it will heal up soon and you will be able to everything that you like to do
