Yesterday my ankle felt a little sore but I could still get around. When I woke up this morning I couldn't even get out of bed. I spent the day soaking it in cold water and it seems to have gotten a little better, but I still can't fully stand on it. I don't even know how it happened! I really hate not being able to move around. Grr...

Sorry to hear about the ancle .. i know how much "fun" that is Sprained my ankle... don't even know how But if there is anything i've learned from all my injuries is ICE ICE ICE!!! lol, honestly i swear ice can make anything feel better! (well within reason!) 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off. Do that whenever you can in intervals of 2 or 3 and it will help with the pain and the swelling.

Hope you are feeling better soon

Anony...

I hope your ankle is better soon. I have problems with my ankles all the time and what I thought was a sprained ankle last time ended up with me having ankle surgery and having bone fragments taken out so please take care of that ankle so you don't have the same problems I had.

Thanks janniebug. My ankle is feeling a lot better, however every now and then when I'm walking I hear a popping noise coming from it. Sprained my ankle... don't even know how

If it is raining where you are that could be the problem. I had to go see my knee doc for a follow-up on that surgery and he told me to expect to hear my knee making lots of wierd noises due to the fact the barometric pressure is low and it's not holding my knee in place like if it wasn't raining.

Its a thought.

So I've come to the conclusion that it's not a sprained ankle. While the pain did go away for a day or so, I woke up this morning once again unable to walk. The pain wasn't in my ankle this time though, it was right in the center of my foot. It actually feels like something heavy fell on top of my foot and just crushed it. In fact, it's worse than it originally was. I have not the slightest clue what's wrong with it. I've never had any foot/ankle problems in the past, except for a fracture nearly 10 years ago (this pain is similar to that). Hmm... it is quite a mystery...
