kay so i've only told one of my friends about this diet. Not eating, lots of water, 3 mile jogg everyday. all that. It's pretty easy to hide from all the rest of my friends n family n just everyone else. I just wear a sweater and pretty baggy pants. But my friend that i told isnt talking to me anymore cause he's all convinced that i have an eating disorder when i dont because im still fat n stuff. So he totally deleted me off of facebook so im kinda like, wow thanks. And so today (same day) i fear that i think i may have kinda maybe, hopefully not have told my boyfriend about my secret diet. I just want to look good for summer and my other friend totlly ditched me beause we were supposed to do this together but she totally ditched me and thinks im not doing it anymore so, yea. But this weekend im not gonna eat. maybe like one or two little things.

Ok, I have to mention your signature here....."stop cruelty to animals" & ask a question. Would you stop feeding an overweight pet? Or would you just cut down on the amount of food & yet still feed them healthy food? If you were to do to a pet what you are doing to yourself, it would be considered cruelty.

When you need to put a pet on a diet because they are overweight, you give them maybe 1/8 of a cut less food & you take them out for a nice envigorating walk & they will get back to their healthy weight within about 6 months or less. Reasonable lessening of the amount of food & reasonable exercise......nothing extreme is required....for pets all forms of extreme are cruelty & it is the same for us as people for our bodies work the same

Food for your thought that isn't fatening

Please correct me if I have got this totally wrong, but I am rather concerned here….

Im going to quote some things back to you, to try to clarify something:

You do not say whether you are genuinely overweight, or whether it is actually your thought patterns, as in “im still fat n stuff.”

You talk of “Not eating” and “this weekend im not gonna eat. maybe like one or two little things”

You also describe keeping your behaviour secret: as in “my secret diet” and:
“It's pretty easy to hide from all the rest of my friends n family….. I just wear a sweater and pretty baggy pants.”
– is that because you are actually hiding just how THIN you are becoming?

This is all certainly sounding like Anorexic thinking styles and behaviour. Have you been anorexic before?

If I have got this right, then please, I hope you ask for help and support to find your way back to stable eating patterns. (And I certainly hope you are not here to find friends to support you in becoming anorexic! Sorry if that sounds harsh?)

If I have got this wrong, then you can correct me and accept my sincere apologies. But even then, starving yourself no answer to anything.

I hope you find your way to eating healthily and looking after yourself properly,

Matt C

Hello

Aww hun, it sounds like that you're at the start of developing and ED.

I started out like you, and now I'm way too deep in this to get out.

Please get help or do a diet but the healthy way hun!

Good luck. Take care x
