I've been getting sick lately from anxiety, and now everytime I go into the bathroom I want to throw up. I haven't been bulimic since last summer, and thought I was over this. Now it is like I don't feel the need to, but as soon as I go in there, I just feel like it is so convenient. How do I snap myself out of this?

Perhaps discuss it with your therapist, and try to see throwing up in a different light, concentrate on the damage it does to your throat. Perhaps hang something in the bathroom from a book about the damage it does, from an eating disorder book. Let us know how you are doing.

I'm doing a little better. I go to the bathroom right before I eat now, and won't go again until I get to work. As much as I hate it, I try to go in when others are in there. It makes me feel ashamed but at least I won't do it then. I'll try to keep this updated if it starts to get worse again. Thanx....I think I'm gonna try that.
