My T is really encouraging me to go to a group therapy session with a whole lot of other people struggling with ED.
Was wondering if anyone here has been to group therapy and if so did it help??

I actually found eating disorder groups to be really helpful. People who have been through similar issues can offer a different perspective than professionals. Plus, a lot of people in the groups are in therapy so sometimes they will share something helpful that their therapists said. Sometimes it is just interesting to hear from other people who have experienced similar things, got different treatment approaches, and you also may feel less alone.
