I go through periods of overeating and periods of anorexia, and I reeaally need to stop. I just weighed myself this morning and luckily I was at a decent weight for myself, but looking in the mirror does not make me happy. I have been overeating for the past while now and I feel gross. I want to stop eating again to feel better, but I know that won't help things. I am in need of ideas to keep the ideas of anorexia out of my head! So if anyone could please help me, or point me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated <3

No I do not. I kind of want (need) one, but I can never seem to bring it up to my parents. And when they bring it up to me I freak out and deny everything they say.

it's hard to want help and at the same time not to, if you know what i mean. could you maybe say to your parents, that talking to a counselor, could help you see whether or not you DO have a problem? it doesn't mean instant disclosure on your part. acting like this is a "maybe look and see" kind of thing, rather than sudden smashing down a wall. denial is a symptom too.

That is a definite possibility. Thank you. And also they wouldn't freak out and treat me different if i said that. Which is one of my main concerns. Thank you so much!

That is such a great idea. I just need to go to the doctor first to make it actually sound reasonable. Thank you!
