I have had a difficult day and I know I'm hungry. I just don't feel like I want to feed myself. I feel like I don't deserve it. When things are going bad, I often feel myself like this is all I have left - I resort back to my old behaviors. Any suggestion as to what I can do to curb this before it gets worse? It's such a slippery slope.

i know what you mean. it gets downhill so quickly. i say get some foods you deem "safe" or something that you know you like to have as a snack and have it around. maybe set alarms to help you eat, even if the hunger lessens when the alarm goes off, or if it doesn't, making a pattern of eating at x time a day helps me, going by a schedule does too. sending hugs and love ♥

I can relate to how you feel about not deserving food even when your hungry. I feel if if I'm not good I don't deserve food regardless of how hungry I am. I have found a couple of safe foods that I allow myself to give in to. It's a sticky situation
But give yourself a chance.
