I am so down lately. I have gained so much weight over the past month that it's really depressing me. I am due to get married next weekend and I feel like a blimp. I hate being at the weight that I'm at right now. All I want to do is purge like I used to. I don't want the anorexia or bulimia to come back by any means, but to me it seems the easiest way to lose weight. My fiance just tells me to eat right and exercise, but it's not as simple as that. I'm so unhappy with the way that I look. *sigh*....I guess I'm just looking for a bit of support here.

sniffles, except about getting married, you describe me!!

There really is no other option but to eat right and exercise. It is just not so simple for us now is it?

The one thing that stands right out for me about your post is your signature ... "The secret to success isn't what you can do, but what you're willing to try to do". That raises a lot of interesting questions for me and my quest to lose weight (unsuccessfully).

You are very strong to resist purging - please know that.

I wish you the best of luck with your wedding next week. This is probably a stressful time for you right now, so please try and take a bit of time out for yourself.
