Does anybody else have any feelings on this, or is it just what would be considered a symptom of an eating disorder?

I sincerely believe that perhaps this dismorphic thought pattern triggers my wanting to behave irrationally around food.

I screwed up yesterday and weighed myself, and now I can't get that number out of my head. All I can do is try to figure out what a woman of the same height and weight is really shaped like.

Why should I care, why is it important?
