You recently posted you were taken from your home and in a psych, so you can ask the doctors and nurses about this - right.

Were you put back in the home where you were assaulted? Is your father in jail ATM? You're a minor right?

forcibly vomiting can cause tears in the esophagus that will result in bleeding. you could see this in the vomit. bright red blood seen in vomit is more likely to come from the esophagus than the stomach. dark red or black looking blood may be partially digested, and therefore more likely to come from the stomach. either one is concerning, and would ideally be seen by a doctor.
i hope you are doing better now.

Yes, I hope you are feeling better. I just noticed your post and was concerned, because I had an emergency surgery on my esophagus in late June
with 3 units of transfusion because my esophagus tore from portal hypertension. Two since, one more to go. Maybe your doctor can test for an ulcer and/or pylorii. I hope I didn't scare you...I wasn't warned of the signs to look for before the incident.

Peace, "help...."

Yes go to the ER if you have to. I now have to get an endoscopy to find out how much damage I've done.

The same thing has been happening to me lately. I've been doing this for over 20 yrs and never once had it happen then suddenly every time I purge for the past 6 months there are always streaks of bright red blood. In those moments I am horrified and think it would serve as a wake up call to stop but then I rationalize it away saying that since its bright red= superficial tear = not serious. It is scary when it happens, though.
