Hey everybody-
I am a senior in college and have been struggling with bulimia since high school...i've never told my parents and my friends think it was a high school only thing. the only person that knows about any recent activity in the area is my current boyfriend of 5 months...and he thinks everything stopped this summer. while it has been less recurring, i binge and purge every few weeks or so...i dont know what triggers it. i wouldn't say im overweight (i gained a little freshman year of college but lost it all by working out), i tend to eat healthy and go to the gym regularly....but when i slip, i SLIP (im tlaking like 3/4 of a box of triscuit plus 3 cookies then directly to the bathroom while my roommate is next door slip)- and it's starting to scare me. i dont have finances for a doctor...and i don't want to tell my family and ask them for money. basically i'd like to kick this thing on my own- any advice?? please help...im tired of making myself sick A little help?

First, i woudl say get help as soon as possible. i remember when i only b&p every 2 weeks.. now im every day.

If you are in college, I bet your school offers free counseling. Almost all do. I'd contact them. Also if you have insurance, they may have some mental health support. Definately get help. check with your school first .. free is better sometimes. for me it has worked out well. i could never pay for what im getting now.
