Anyone else that has been in recovery and still finds that ED "voice" in your head that gets louder and more abusive when you have added stressors in your life at that moment?

Yes. You just have to keep fighting for recovery and forgive yourself for any set backs. Easy to say and hard to do, believe me I know.

I just always pray that the stressor periods aren't too long......I can usually recover from short periods of stress but the longer ones really do a lot of harm......several long periods of stress have landed me in the medical hospital with IV nutrition.....in & out for several months......that's not going to happen now that I live alone with my 3 dogs......so trying to push myself to not allow it to get that far along.
