I use to binge eat and purge multiple times a day, I cut my calories and if I accidentally go over the limit just a little I feel the need to throw up. I also only drink water now and I drink about 18-21 cups a day, that might be overdoing it. I never thought I'd have a eating disorder then it just slowly developed into one. I know I need to stop because im getting stomach problems and my teeth enamel is waring away. How do I stop this?

get into the doctors for a health check including blood work to check for an electrolyte imbalances. Start replacing water with v8 blend (try to get 24 oz a day. Call your insurance for a list of therapists and see who can see you first.

You should see your medical doctor right away and find a therapist who can help you. My restrictive eating and exercise slowly led to my ED and now it is hard to stop. I know I can't recover without help which is why I am glad to have my T's help. I hope you can find someone who can help you.
Thanks for this!

yes. I do agree with what others said. In addition, some people find Overeaters Anynomous helpful. They get a lot of support in working on it through that program. It was not right for me. But I wish it had been. I think its great that you want to deal with the ed.
Thanks for this!

what? i am shocked. you have 18 above cups of water. odd. but i believe one should not drink this high amount of water. it is damaging too, seriously.

I know you're not supposed to drink anymore than 8 cups of water a day, drinking a ton of water isnt that odd when you have a eating disorder, because I feel the need to drink more than needed. Im going to cut down to 10 cups a day, because I know it's not good.

yeah buddy, because it is said that too much water is also not good.
I suggest, If you feel the need to drink, you drink juice, take coffee, or tea.
Eat more fruit. so that water consumption get lessened. 8-10 cups of water is good enough.
ok. bye for now.

At 1st I didn't think it was a big deal but I realized it is really dangerous. I'll start drinking some tea again or V8 juice.

When you have an ED it is difficult to recognize the behaviors as dangerous so don't be hard on yourself. You didn't realize drinking too much water is not healthy but now that you do hopefully you can do something to change the behavior. Definitely get some professional help. It is not something you want or need to do alone.
Thanks for this!
