and I'm freaking out!!!!!

This has never happened to me before,at least not that I can remember,no it hasn't ever happened. I've always purged a few times a week and often a few times in those days.

I've never had this problem and now I'm ready to breakdown and cry because of it!!!

Will I get it back?
Why did this happen?
Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm sure some people would take this as a sign to stop, but all I can see right now behind the tears is that I'm going to get fat!! It almost makes me want to indulge in self destuctive behavior, just to release the anxiety!!!

Yup I lost my gag reflex but still learned out to purge by using my my stomach muscles and other techniques that I will not go into details. My reflex does return if I refrain for a week or more.

Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.
Thanks for this!

Mine is gone, it only seems to mildly return if I take a break from behaviors.
Thanks for this!

I was able to purge all of my dinner from thanksgiving, and only one other time since then,of course I abused the privelage on those days doing it 4-5 times in those days and now I'm back to not being able to do it again.

It sucks!!! I really hate being so dependent on it
