ok so I have been sick for a month and hardly eat, mostly thelast 2 weeks because I can't swallow. The last 2 days when I force myself to eat my stomache is upset almost instantly.....I am afraid this could lead to anarexia....any one else concerned or have sugestions.

I would consult a doctor, dietician, or nutritionist. I would think if you've had a problem that has made it hard for you to eat for awhile then when you start eating again you'd have to take it carefully, couldn't just start eating whatever you wanted/"thought" would be good. I think anorexia though is also a mental thing with eating; if you want to eat but can't for physical reasons, that's different. I don't think they can turn into each other.

My biggest advise is BE CAREFUL.

I started anorexia from being sick. I'd really wanted to have the self control to quit eating but my stomach always hurt so bad when I wouldn't eat. Then I got the flu and it got me past the first few days of stomach pain from not eating. Once the hunger pain obstacle was out of the way I could not eat and feel ok.

If you are concerned I would talk to your doctor about it. They would probably have some tips on what to eat to get your stomach adjusted to eating again and help keep you accountable so you don't quit eating.

Just be careful.

I hope you feel better.
