Not looking foward to tomorrow...

Were having a early christmas dinner tomorrow at my mother-in-laws (who is lovely) as my brother & sister -in law cant make it home for christmas with the whole family there will about 20 Not looking forward to tomorrow PLEASE help me get through it of us in total so it will be a mad house but the problem is that there will be so many people there & they are all going to be on at me to eat & on about how I am to skinny & will make myself ill if I dont eat ect Im having a really hard time with eating at the moment & really dont need to hear it from them all day as its all I get every time I see anyone one at the moment. Not looking forward to tomorrow PLEASE help me get through it

So what I really want to know is if any one has any tips on how to make it look like I have eaten more food than I have & help me get through it all Not looking forward to tomorrow PLEASE help me get through it

Cat, have you tried just telling them "thanks for your concern but making an issue of how much I eat just stresses me out and makes it harder to eat what I need to." ? It takes courage to be straightforward, but trying to make it look like you are eating more than you really are just keeps the game going, and that doesn't sound like it's helping anyone.

Pretend to knosh more? You know, if there are bowls or trays of snacking food before the meal, then grab one every time you pass by... then when the meal comes, if they notice, tell them you have been munching on the snacks for hours!

I know with me i get weird in big crowds. No matter if they are family members or not. I'd say just try what Sky said to do. That way you are still eating, but ur not forcing anything down just b/c other people are making you. In the end that just might make you sick.

Thankyou all I will give some of your ideas a try someone else said about wearing some extra layers as well I will let you know how I get on

Just thought that I would let you know how it went at the weekend.
It was really hard I had everyone going on at me saying I should eat im to skinny & waisting away ect in the end it got so bad that I snapped at my little boy who's 6yrs because he had heard everyone else saying so much stuff he started to say that I hould put on weight & if I wasnt so skinny he woulndnt be able to knock me over & so on we were play fighting at the time so I was letting him do it but he is to little to relise that but hey ho got to go through it all again on dec 26th

i know how u feel,am like a rake,when i tell ppl am 10 st they dont believe me,they say no way u must be like 8stone and i have 2 prove my weight,all i get is u dont eat enough ,and they try and get me 2 eat enough for the 5 thausand lol
