Today I ate one of my biggest fear foods: Waffles. It was a long and tedious process, but I did it! It took me over an hour and I cried along the way, but I feel like I can conquer the world.

CONGRATULATIONS! That was a huge step to take and I, for one, am very proud of you! I hope that you continue to feel like you can conquer the world because in your world you already did.

. Hay yay Katelyn, that's absolutely wonderful, a REAL achievement. Only someone who's been caught in the "fear of food" trap could honestly know what a difficult process that was. However, you DID it, and it was only YOU who could. The strange thing about any eating disorder is that you need to eat your way out of it to recover. That doesn't mean binge your way out or eat weird combinations. It means eating sensible sized meals, at set times a day and made up of what you know to be healthy tasty things. And there needs to be small treat type things, but if you can't manage these it doesn't matter. You know now that it's possible, even though there may be some blips along the way, dust yourself off and start again asap. WELL DONE hun. Xxx

Good job.....hard to think that certain foods can be so difficult to eat.....but it's good that you have taken this step to overcome this hurdle for today.
