Does anyone else get a feeling of relief and release when they purge? I do. It's the main thing that keeps me purging. It's more than just feeling empty, it's not just physical it's emotional too. I crave that feeling. I can get it from self harm too but not as intensely. Is there another (safer, easier) way to feel this?

I hated the acid burning in the throat after purging.

I tried cutting back on meal size to a smaller amount and stopped binging. I never felt satisfied with binging and just wanted to feel good again.

I like it when I feel a little hungry. I feel better than after purging by just cutting back to smaller meals and stay away from carbs and sugar as much as possible

I feel a relief also after. But it doesn't last long. It is a temporary relief. Sometimes I would rather eat then purge because it makes me feel better in the short run. But it isn't worth it. It really isn't. Purging is awful health wise.

Yeah I feel relieved after as I usually panic and that's what makes me purge after I've eaten a meal.
