Back in 2005-2006 lots of things were going on and I developed an eating disorder, but my mom snd doctor intervened and put me on an antidepressant. It worked for a while but after my body had become so used to it, it started losing its effect. Eventually I had stopped taking it cold turkey, because of something going on with my doctor. If it were up to my mom, I would still be on it. The eating disorder lasted for 6 or 7 months and those were the worst 6 or 7 months of my life. Being put on the antidepressant had been the worst 8 years of my life.

Hi supersmashfan,

Thank you for sharing your story with us.

I am sorry to hear that the medication did not work for you or you feel isn't working well.

Is it possible to have a re-evaluation done by your doc for your meds?

Look after yourself.
