I am afraid to eat food because it might have been genetically modified or come from animals. Animals used for food are abused severely.

I feel sensitive to animal rights and prefer organically grown food but often I find myself in situations where I cannot do that but do the best I can to eat good food that makes me feel good.

Not all animals that wind up as food have been abused. But I do agree that more than enough of these animals are abused. There are a lot of non-gmo, vegan and organic foods out there nowadays and they are all labeled as such. Most grocery stores carry at least a little variety of these foods as they are slowly becoming more mainstream.
Thanks for this!

You can buy free range organic chickens, and eggs from free range organically fed chickens. I just eat whatever I can afford. Lately have been eating too much junk food, but food is still something I enjoy.
Thanks for this!

I really dislike food. I feel sick when I eat it. I don't like meat anyways; especially if it reminds me of an animal. I was a vegetarian for a long time and now I can't eat vegetables because I think they might have been genetically modified. The only thing I have been eating is Raman Noodles and I am sick of them.

No offense but if all you are eating is ramen noodles, it's no wonder you feel sick. Ramen noodles are made of very unhealthy ingredients (mainly TBHQ). Again, look for organic vegetables. There are MANY out there that are not genetically modified.

hello everyone, especially Joshuas-mommy[COLOR="rgb(153, 50, 204)"][COLOR="DarkOrchid". Yes J M, you really need to address your challenge over the eating etc. I'm not a Dr or medically trained BUT, be careful as you could be on the way to eating disorders and phyical damage. ~~. Some nutrients HAVE to go into your tummy. Do you have a health food shop and or a whole food shop? They are usually knowledgable and stock many many items which you could live on. When I was anorexic I used to feel very nauseaiated most of the time and like you I diddnt want to eat.
I suspect your quite young, well, I'm not!! I've had severe problems with ED's over the
Last 30 plus years and have caused a lot of phyical ill health, therefor I strongly advise you to try and get help, maybe approach your family Dr, who could then refere you, don't be frightened or worried about this. I send you lots of HUGS and a lot of positive vibes. Take care and do let us know how you've got along, we're here if you need us hunny. Xxxxx[q/COLOR]

Thanks for this!

This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.
