I can't even use Thanksgiving as an excuse for my disgusting behaviour this weekend as I'm Canadian and Thanksgiving was in October.
All I did this weekend was eat. A lot of what I ate was terrible which just adds to my frustration. I'm waiting until I've been a member long enough to apply for a blog because I get no one wants to read my useless posts, but I need to write somewhere. My fiance and I have quit our co ed team so we're going to start a new workout regime on Tuesdays which I'm excited about. |

Some weekends are just like that, don't be too upset with yourself. Take it as a lesson for next weekend! Good luck with your new workouts.

So what is really under this overheating that is really causing this behavior. Every ED no matter whether too much food or too little there is usually something deep underneath it & until that is dealt with it won't go away no matter what resolve you make.
I had a friend I met in my 20's.....it turned out that eating comforted her from the pain of a mother who didn't like her but loved all her siblings. To comfort her feelings of rejection. Then all her kids mirrored her eating pattern. Have heard of others who grew up in abusive relationships who either ate or not in hopes of making themselves unattractive trying to make it so the abuser want to stop abusing them. ED's are complicated but until the reason behind them is resolved it continues to be a problem. Then because it is a behavior we have to consciously focus on changing that behavior after the reason is resolved. It's difficult but not impossible to accomplish...wishing you the best.
