I am obsessed with thinspo and reading other people's stories. Sometimes I have an eating disorder and sometimes I don't, but always with the thinspo! Why can't I stop looking at that stuff?
I've never actually been diagnosed and have always kept my ed behaviors pretty secretive. I am not thin, just average, but I feel fat. At my worst I purge, restrict, and compulsively exercise. (not currently doing any of those though). Mostly I use it as a coping mechanism.

I also follow a bunch of self-harm stuff, but haven't done that for about 3 weeks. It's like I want to look at it and it takes away some of the desire to actually do it. Not because it is gross or whatever, but more like I am living through it.

Actually one of the DBT skills is to read about others who are worse than you are. That skill is called comparison & many times it can help.
