Does anyone have any reccomendations for eating disorder books that were really good? I'm wanting to read something about either anorexia or ednos...I still have part of the summer off and I might as well do something good with it!!

THanks

I'd suggest going to the local library. I read a lot of psychology books and once I finished those at the school library I had to move on to the public library, mine at least has quite a few.

Eating disorders, schizophrenia, and depression are the ones my library mostly focuses on so I'd bet your public library will have something.

yeah...veritymoon is definitely right. A lot of those books on eating disorders can be very VERY triggering depending on where you are and all. So...read carefully...

Wasted is a really good book. Even people that don't have eating disorders would enjoy it, I think. She's a really good writer. She has another book called The Center of Winter, or something like that.

I had read several that my ex checked out from the library...don't remember any titles...

Just watch out for the personal stories type books...Yes you can relate I would think though it would be extremely triggering...at least the ones she had probably help develop additional means to her end...
