This is just something that I have noticed recently and I wondered if others have the same issue.
It seems that after I purge I end up with almost black eyes. The blood vessels around my whole eyes area even on my cheeks seem to burst with the slightest purge. Just wondering if anyone else had this issue? Thinking too much today.

I haven't had the black eyes ... but terrible pressure around my head.. (like it is going to burst)...
sounds like things are tough for you.. I'm sorry....

Yeah the pressure around the head stinks. My face and around my eyes feel like I have a sinus infection or something after.
I'm going through a rough patch are now. I've had so many life altering events over the summer. I'm still having a hard time adjusting to everything.

My eyes always end up crying. Eye drops help me a lot. Makes them feel better.

 except I drink coke. Soda helps while you eat for the after part if ya know what i mean. I have never had any blood vessel issues or anything, just maybe red eyes.

I haven't had that problem but I've heard of it happening to bulimics.
Has anyone ever heard of getting nosebleeds while purging? It's been really bad for me lately, I think cause the weather is changing. I guess I just have some sensitive blood vessels in my nose that burst but it has been worrying me. |

I had my tonsils out, and I think that helps a great deal because the throte is more open. I also have a high gag reflex, sometimes brushing my teeth i gag. go figure.

I get lots of little red spots on my neck and forehead, and around my eyes. I don't think that happened when I first started.

i notice that after i purge i get little red dots all over my under eye and eye lid. its called pitisia and all it is, is broken blood vessels under your eyes.

My eyes have never looked like black eyes, however I've had my eyes turn reddish. They would start tearing up as well, and I thought the blood vessels in my eyes would burst. Maybe something is happening with your blood vessels under your eyes? they could be more sensitive than the average person.
