Hi, I 2 have a questions. Say you and this guy are drunk and he starts doing stuff but you don't want it. You are 17 at the time. You are to drunk to say no or you really couldn't remeber if you did or not. Is that consider abuse. Here is the second one, say at the time you were in 5th grade and you had a neighbor who was couple years younger than you. No the kid was mean he would pull knives on you. You were scared. Then one day the started touching you but you were to scared to say no. You didn't want him to hurt you. Is that stupid? Could that be consider abuse?

The first situation is a hard call.... but it is a call to not drink, for when drunk yours and his ability to make rational decisions is greatly impaired.

The second situation was indeed sexual abuse.... and the fear was normal.... many freeze and cannot move at all, as to stop what is about to happen.

Yeah, I definitely consider that abuse. I think a guy, even an drunk guy knows when a girl is to vulnerable and drunk. If that's the case a normal (good) guy would take you hope to sleep it off and would never consider taking advantage of you.

Now for the boy who not only abused you sexually, but emotionally from fear, I'm not sure what to say because I don't know how old is he. I guess there's the ages that can determine whether a person knew what they were doing.

It's definitely abuse and if this really eating you up get it out because it really takes weight off of you. It's not right what they did.

Drunk or not Rape is Rape and Molestation is Molestation. Courts are no longer able to use the she was drunk and didnt say no. If the person is impared due to drugs and alcohol it is considered the same as if someone raped or molested someone who is physically or mentally challenged like down syndrome, schitoprenic and so on.

If the person is impared and is unable to say no the person who is doing the advancing is held responsible if he or she does not stop their actions until the person is with in their right frame of mind and can make a logical decision to participate or not.

It is based on this that cases of being raped and or molested while under the influence of the date rape drugs have lead to convictions of the perpetators.

you're welcome. Sorry you went through that. I was also raped under circumsttances in which I felt I could not say no - as a child and as an adult and on a mental health unit otherwise known as the nut ward.

Hang in there.
