Why are meals out so hard

I planned out exactly what I wanted to have days ago so I didn't need to worry, I have every calorie worked out. Then I hear "lets get dessert". I can't just sit and watch him have one on his own so I order the lowest cal dessert they had and told myself I'd only eat half, and then I end up eating the whole thing!

I'm still only 180 over my goal for today but i'm so so so mad at myself and already punishing myself with an extra long run tomorrow. Why can't I just go out not worry like a normal person!

I've been trying so hard not to purge, but I've just switched to exercise instead which actually makes me feel so much worse when I'm drained and aching.

I usually say, I'll just have a few bites of yours, I'm really too full for a whole dessert.

Doggie bags/boxes are my serious friend when eating out. I can get my favorite food & eat on it for day's just warming it up & eat only the amount I want.

I feel you. And if you always end up ordering a salad your friends are going to say something annoying or it will just frustrate you seeing them eat that unhealthy staff while you are 'forced' to eat that.

I just think you have to eat that 'bad food' sometimes until you will feel normal. Its all in your head. Just say to yourself that you deserve that whole dessert because you are perfect the way you are until you really feel better.
Its a journey but if you try more often, maybe you will get used to it
