Hey,

I definitely wouldn't take any online tests too seriously. I think, at best, they are mostly used as a guide or a prompt for you to maybe go and see your doctor if they bring up any areas of concern.

Bulimia is when you eat and purge which could be by a number of ways ie being sick or taking laxatives etc.

I have had bulimia for over 15 years and is something I deeply regret starting. I have lost so many friendships and missed out on so many things because of my fear of gaining weight. I now also suffer from numerous physical conditions and have done irrepairable damage to my teeth. It will eventually consume your every thought and everything that you do. Please please please don't put yourself through this same living nightmare.

One of the things that I am now learning to accept is the gift of this life that has been given to me and the gift of this body that I have. What are the positive things about you as a person? I bet there are so many people that value you and love you the way that you are. What is it that you most want to achieve in your life? You have so much to offer others and so many things to enjoy.

I think PC is great in that you can talk about these things going though your head. Please write again if things feel like they get 'too much' or if you just want reassurance or whatever. Don't keep anything locked inside for habits to feed off.

Please take care of yourself....

Lou

Well... as you'll hear many times when you ask about health affairs online... nobody can diagnose you. Nor can online tests. Only drs can do that because they have the medical training to do so, and they can see you IRL too.

So... I wouldn't put too much faith in online tests. They tell me I'm anorexic. Then they tell me I'm not. It depends on when I take them. And besides I'm not anorexic, so they are definitely wrong there, but they can't make the subtle distinctions a dr can, because they can only ask set questions. So basically the only way you'd truly know is to ask a dr, I'm afraid. Otherwise you'll just be guessing. But you don't sound bulimic from what you say...
